Would you rather I just talk a bunch of smack and belittle their team and tell how I think we're gonna just smoke em?? :| I'm just being honost , I really don't think we're gonna be able to guard Sara Elliot their 6'6 F/C one on one , Ali could get in foul trouble faster than you can say Dan Dakich. Our only hope will be to double or triple team quickly and erracticly so they don't get in any kind of rythmn trying to hit open 3pt shooters.

How about "I'm looking forward to a good game" not "We're lucky if we can keep it close?"

We're getting tired of you running around to other teams boards and putting our teams down all the time. It's one thing having excessive negativity over here where we're all used to it. It's another thing entirely to give BG fans a bad name by being so damn defeatist all the time.

To say "our only hope" is anything in this game is ignorant. These two teams are very evenly matched and it should be a great game.

I've said on Anderson Animals, on UKhoopsFans, and now here. BG has beat teams with 6'4" adn 6'5" starters. BG held Iona's 6'5" forward to 2pts. The ladies have beaten several teams taller then them, and beaten them well. The margin for victory is like 15pts now. BG has played a better game than UK in many areas. UK women have not been playing a great physical game either, I don't think our Ladies will be "man-Handled" by UK.

It's one thing to state weaknessess and express concern, but you give the Ladies no credit Falconboy. You would think that with a 9-1 record, playing only 3 games at home that you would give them some more credit.

Oh yeah, my prediction BG 60
UK 50

We haven't played anyone with the talent and size that UK will put on the floor. I'm not saying we have no chance cuz thats ludicris, we've gotten alot better since our drubbing at the hands of Ohio St. a year ago, but we are not evenly matched.

Out of curiosity how many UK games have you watched this year falconboy? You seem to have terrific knowledge of their talent compared to ours

Well I had a huge response typed, then my browser closed. Crap.
Anyway. First UKs schedule hasn't been that different than ours. They did play LSU, but walked out with their asses in their hands. they followed that up with a game against a DII school. We played 4 of the same teams. Both lost to a team getting votes in the ESPN/USA today poll (though UK lost at home, while BG lost on the road, 1st game after a week off over christmas and really only their second game in like 2 weeks). UK then lost to another unranked team. Schedules be damned FB. we played some tall teams and beat them just as well as UK did, without there 6'6" center. BG has played 3 games at home and has lost only 1. Look at the stats, BG has been playing better than UK in many catagories. If you have actually watched or listened to UK like I have, you would also know that they aren't playing very phycial.

What more do you want. If you need I can loan you my UK hat to wear during the game. I know for sure that I will leave that at home anyways.

Oh yeah, I forgot they played Stetson too, won that game 84-38. UK has had a very soft OOC schedule, They even reported that in Lexington Herald Leader last year, that they were playing a soft schedule and were hoping to get lots of wins. NC A&T is a powerhouse too.

I knew Falconboy disliked our football team because we weren't all Andre the Giants on the line, but to talk like that about our women's basketball team should get you banned or beat up in the first row of Anderson Arena.

That's pretty negative. You can say we'll have a tough time, or we are concerned about something......but when did you start interviewing Coach Miller so you know exactly what we are going to do?

(You know- it seems as if everytime I respond to Falconboy I want someone to beat him up....I may have to introduce myself to him at the next game.)

Oh yeah- Jill Lause is a great asset to our TEAM-you  %$!$##%$#^%

I'd put our team up against anyone in America...we may not beat some teams but I doubt I'd see a harder working team than BG. That is what I love about the program these days. The team works HARD and it shows in the game and the team's intensity.

Here is a game where Coach Miller and the team can serve notice nationwide...maybe I can catch it on CSTV or one of the ESPN channels. Anyone know if it will be televised?

I finally get a first hand look this Saturday vs. Akron...MAC opener. BG coming home 10-1 and ready to rock AA!
How cool it would be to see a couple thousand at the game Sat. This team has earned the support.

GO BG!!! BEAT UK.

Falconboy, I appreciate your interest in BGSU sports as a member of the BG community, but until you attend the school, please do not go posting your uninformed drivel on other teams' sites and make our University's fans look like idiots. Thank you.

Per Falcon boy on Wildcat Site:

Well, first off we do have tend to have good balance in scoring most of the time , excluding the last two games, but we're gonna have nightmare trying to guard 6'3 fowards and our own lone "tall girl" Lause at 6'2 is too slow to guard any of your post players. You guys have some major size and athletism advantage on us.

Its gonna be very tough , we'll have to shoot the ball very well and not get in foul trouble which will be tough with the players you guys got to guard. We kinda weak at center and power forward depth. I hope its a good game though. Your definilty alot more athletic than Kansas St. when we played em in NCAA's last year.

Metz, Grant!!!! I am tired of all this negativity. I talked with a few people over the holidays and they refuse to come to this site because of stuff like this. FALCONBOY!!!, My momma always said, if you do not have anything nice to say, then shut the **** UP!!!!

Me, too. But this isn't my site...I don't know what you would like me to do about it.
