Another GOOD reason for an IGNORE button!

I just thought maybe as a Moderator you would have some authority to do something, not on other schools websites, but on our very own. Maybe we should come up with some disciplinary reasons. I know I am not perfect but the last thing I do is talk negativity on other schools boards. In high school, as students, we were punished if we did anything in appropriate on school grounds, even after school hours, and also at any school events. Sometimes our punishments were detentions, suspensions, etc. Maybe we could install a system here at AZZ. Be warned once, then have rights suspended 3 days, 7 days, etc. Someone mentioned the Ignore Button, I prefer something more serious. Just a thought. I know several people who have not come back to this site in the past month because all of the negativity. You would think a team as 9-1 in basketball, would be talked about positively by EVERYONE, not negatively.

FALCONBOY!!! I plead you to either talk nicely (compliments) or just do not say anything at all. I have seen you around before at the libraries (BG and Waterville), and everytime I see you, you always have a smirk on your face when reading posts? Do you like putting down BG Athletics! I have been a BG resident for almost 30 years. BG is far from perfect but people posting negative thoughts give our program a bad image. If people in the town of BG who never been to a Falcon sporting event would read your post they would not want to attend a sporting event. You may say this is not true, but my fiance moved to BG from Indiana, came to this site to read how 'good' our teams are, and she told me that after she read some comments that she felt our program was not very good. I had to convince her otherwise. If everyone else happens to feel the same way, then how can we continue to work on building our attendance. I am sure you mean well, but only a handful of your posts have been meaningful over the past several months.

For those who took the time to read that, I am sorry. I would like to apologize if I offended anyone else but I am sick and tired of reading the negativity, not only at UK websites, but at other opposing schools websites over the year starting with the beginning of football season.

And just why do you think I don't come around the site much anymore? Seriously... I'm just sick of it, but apart from shutting it down, there's not a whole lot I can do. People are entitled to their opinions, I'm not going to say only positive posts are allowed. The REAL problem on this site is how people REACT to the negative posts. You don't need an ignore button, you just need self-control.
