To get back in his alma mater's good graces, he needs to make a rather substantial contribution to the Sebo Center.BGSU33 wrote:I like Jay Crawford a lot, but he about made me puke a few weeks ago when the trio of Woody, Skip and Jay wore their "school's" gear for a show (sweatshirt and hat). ROLL ALONG!
He has gotten alot of milage out of the 2003 Feista Bowl. "Luckeyes," "worst call ever," and the like. But the thing about Skippy, which he has conveniently forgotten, is that he said OSU should turn down the 2003 Feista Bowl because they had no business being on the same field as Miami. He said they would get routed and set OSU football back ten years. He thought they should have deferred to, ahem, USC (2 losses I believe). So, even if Miami would have won that game, which they didn't, he could not have been more wrong or looked like a bigger fool.
I think this is why he has such a problem with OSU. They destroyed his credibiltiy and exposed him as a know-nothing windbag. He is very entertaining on the radio, but since that "opinion" he has been nothing more than a windbag, IMO.

Peppy LeDouche proves he is still an idiot. After his emphatic prediction that the Bengals would stomp the Steelers, he now says they obviously would have won if Palme hadn't gotten hurt. While that may be true, nobody will ever know, and it sounds like whining from a loser (which it is).
He goes on to say that Indy is happy that the Steelers won because they did not want to play Palmer and the Bengals next week. Newsflash dumbass
-- If the Bengals would have won, New England would have come to Indy. This guy is friggin retarded.

in his defense, he doesn't say that the colts would've played the bengals next week. he just says that "Palmer's nuclear capability would have posed a slightly greater threat to Indy in Indy." he makes no comment as to when this game might have taken place. he was just making a point, i think, that the bengals would be the most potent offense that the colts would have to play (of the three) in the dome on turf.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/st ... ess/060109

speaking of doucemonkies, why does roethlisberger talk like he's from the hood? and what normal room has just two, three, or five walls?Jacobs4Heisman wrote:jacojdm wrote:i know that there's an impact on breathing for some at high altitudes, but how does it affect the use of a pro bowl wide receiver's tear ducts?Jacobs4Heisman wrote:If that's the case, then he's even more retarded for thinking the Bengals would have won in Denver.

He now gets my "Roger Brown" treatment. Instead of listening to or reading their stupidity, I just don't read the article or turn the channel. He goes on to say that Indy is happy that the Steelers won because they did not want to play Palmer and the Bengals next week. I just wonder what is going through the heads of their bosses in deciding to keep them employed. Don't they realize this is hurting their ratings/circulation?

Worst.
Commercial.
Ever.
That dude is annoying as hell off the field.

Yup. Plus he's always played on teams I hate.Jacobs4Heisman wrote: That dude is annoying as hell off the field.
Makes it real easy for me to give him the honor of being my most hated player ever. I don't want to say I wish for an injury to a player...but there might be one exception...man I hate that guy. Yesterday's game would've been a lot more competitive if the Bungles could've knocked Big Ben out too...watching Tommy Maddox & Jon Kitna duke it out...there's DRAMA!

What??? Screw that guy....I don't care if he's a BG grad.

It happened 'Freak, he was all decked out in OSU gear, sitting there with a big smile talking about his Buckeyes. I did a double-take when I first saw it on TV. And we wonder why schools like BG and others from the MAC get overlooked by networks such as ESPN when one of our own has a chance to show our colors and he wears that crap!? What a joke. At least when Jason Jackson was an ESPN anchor or hosted NBA Tonight or whatever that show was called, he always gave a shout-out to Antonio Daniels in a clever way. He wasn't as obvious about it like say Stuart Scott is with UNC (Scott's a Tar Heel in case you couldn't figure that one out), but during a Daniels clip he'd say something like "Daniels rocks the rim like he did back in Anderson Arena." I always liked that he always gave BG props when he had the chance, unlike Crawford.Falconfreak90 wrote:What??? And to add to the point above about Skip cutting on Crawford about Memphis playing those "Akrons, Toledos or Temples," Crawford did roll his eyes and sheepishly answered back that it was Toledo. Wrong Jay, Toledo beat UTEP, Memphis played Akron. Maybe if he wasn't covered head to toe in OSU gear, he might have gotten that answer correct since it was pointed at him being it was about MAC school. As for Skip's comment, Crawford should have said at least these MAC schools are playing in a bowl game unlike Vanderbilt, or better yet, if it wasn't for a non-BCS loss at home to MTSU this year, Vandy would have been bowl bound themselves. Come on Jay.....

Should AZZers "talk" to Craford?
After reading about THE OSU crap that Jay Crawford wore on ESPN, I wonder if it's too late for us as AZZer's to email him letting him know we didn't appreciate the publicity he gave OSU (which has enough already thank you), when he could've worn the colors of his alma mater.
Only problem is that this happened awhile ago, from what I've read here, and it might seem too petty right now. But if anyone knows how to email him at ESPN, it still might be worth it.
