BG leads CMU 30-18 at the half

Post by BGSU33 »

Nice run at the end of the half for BG. Let's finish the game strong with another half just like it. Listening to this game, there just doesn't seem like there is any flow for either team, with no help from the officiating. There are so many whistles blowing during the broadcast it's about all you hear. I'm not talking about just BG, it's like nearly every trip down the floor, you hear the whistle and a foul on someone in the game. Gotta love MAC officiating......

GO BG!!!

Ya know, Kirk Cowan is pretty good behind the mike, especially considering that he's new at it.

Great. Glad to hear about Kirk. Maybe for those of us without a WBGU feed we could get a score update. And if you real want to, a description of the sound of Kirk's voice, his calling and whatever else makes him so good.

But, first a score please.

thank you. :D

I always appreciate sarcasm, even when it's direct at me. :)

We're killing them so badly, I stopped listening for the score a while back.

Marschall just fouled out.

Woops, 50 to 25 is the score.

Kent 76, UT 68.

I'm listening over the internet. Can't you get it over the 'net?

No, I haven't been able to listen to a game on WBGU at home since football started. There is something that is not working with the low-bandwidth connection that they won't seem to fix. If whatever school we're playing is broadcasting, i can normally listen, or if I feel like waiting for it to load I will occasionally put on gametracker (it seems like the slowest live stat format I've seen). At work with high-bandwidht connection, WBGU is great.

Was that a final score for Kent/UT?

Me too. It's great. I pay $7 a month. All the games and very few techinical problems. The way I see it, it's about a buck a game.

Central is currently 10 for 38 from the field. Ouch! 3 guys in double figures scoring and 3 guys with 9 points each thus far for us. Central has a whopping 3 assists. I don't know that I've ever seen a team finish with less than 5 assists in a game.
