Where is the press conference, and is it open to the public? Its at 5 eastern, correct? Thanks a lot, Jeff

The university is really keeping this quiet, there's practically nothing online outside of The Blade article about it today.

I heard the press conferance was going to be on 1470 AM. Is that true?

I think Wamer said something about it...I have on Detroit radio all day but I occasionally flip to 1470.

Wamer just said that they hope to talk to Omar live on 1470 late in the show. For what it is worth, he said that unless something changes before the deadline, Omar is going.

I was in BG, heading back north around 5:10, and all I heard on 1470 about Omar over the next 45 minutes was a quick hit in their news update. The rest of the time was blabbering about the NFL... I'm so glad I don't have to listen to those mushmouths every day. Local TV (at least 13) wasn't much better. Cummins did a better job (at least he had sound with Omar and Brandon!), but his delivery has "market 75" stamped all over it.
