BG/Ohio State at Value City Arena

Post by jpfalcon09 »

I dunno about you guys, but I see this game as a big measuring stick for our Icers against the rest of the CCHA. Even though OSU is having a sub-par season, it's still hard to win at the VCA. I think Pooch has his boys ready now for the second half of the season, and I smell a strong playoff push coming our way. Hold on tight folks, it's gonna be a helluva ride.

Matsumoto out for the weekend

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

Matsumoto is out for the weekend, suspended for violating team policy/rules. Heard it on the pregame show...UGH!

GO FALCONS!!
SWEEEEP DUH BUCKS!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

That's pretty big loss, I remember him being one of BG's power players. He's darn good too, if I remember.

Looks like guys like Svendsen and Foster will have to step up big for the weekend. Horrell needs to be big as well tonight, a big series like this can set the tone for the remainder of the season.

Yes, he is, but he isn't the whole team. We have a LOT of talented players and this gives someone else a chance to step up and show their stuff. They have put Unger in the first line to replace him. The first line will be fine! Unger has been on a tear lately!!!!

SWEEEEEP 'EM!!!
