How many Wins next year since Omar's gone?

Yep....we're all going to die...the program is in a tighter downward spiral than a small plane piloted by a Kennedy kid...Brandon is selling his house, cars, blood, TV's and children...wolves are baying outside the locker room waiting to gnaw on the flesh of last year's entire, disappointing because none of them broke any team records, recruiting class.....

I think we all pretty much knew Omar wasn't going to stay, do you blame him? I wish him all the luck in the world and who knows alot of NFL teams are looking for QB's maybe we'll see him play on Sundays next year. I'm looking forward to watching AT play and I think he is going to be one hell of a QB. Yes it sucks Omar is gone but hey bring on Anthony and bring on Wisconsin!!!

How about the Toronto Bowl with that record?

Is it a certainty that the Toronto Bowl is starting next year and the MAC has a bid for it? If so, put us in there.

I chose 5 not only because of the loss of Omar, but for the losses of everyone else on the offense and including Omar. Flipper can tell you what I think of the defense even if nobody were to leave. (

I think that the four wildcards are the FIU, Akron, Ohio U, and CMU games. IMO, these games will be very close.

I voted 9 because 12 wins was not an option. This is, without a doubt, the most thoughless, knee-jerk, reactionary thread that I have seen on this board in a long time. Some of the people around here really need to get a grip on things and not just jump to conclusions five seconds after one player's decision is annonced.

I know, I know, I'm going to be lambasted for not "contributing to the discussion," but the fact of the matter is that there is no discussion. A discussion is predicated by a rational, constructive beginning to said conversation. This "conversation" is lacking that entirely. Am I saying that we are going to win 9-12 games next year for sure? Of course not. But to say that we are going to nose-dive next year because Omar left, especially when we were all - admit it or not - expecting it, is beyond ridiculous.

End of diatribe. Commence hating on Bleeding Orange.

Actually I had discussed my feelings that we would be worse by a great deal without Omar than with him next year about two months ago. The reason I gave then as I did now was that we were losing almost all ofensive continuity. I was just building on that.

So you were just trying to get a rise out of people during a traumatic moment? When gas stations do a similar thing after a natural disaster or a terrorist attack it is called "price gouging."
