Jordan Sigalet recalled to Bruins

Post by McConvey »

Jordan got recalled today.

Hannu Toivunen (sp?) sprained his ankle last night and is day-to-day. Dunno if Jordan will get any time in net or not, but I'm glad to see he's up again.

Good for Jordan! I hope his parents are still in the area to go up to Bean Town to see their boy in the bigs! It was great seeing them in Storrs and they sure are proud of their kids - as they should be!!!!!

Best of luck, J57!!!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

They announced on the TV coverage tonight that Jordan got to play at the end of the game tonight. Boston was ahead so they put Jordan in. The commentators said some very nice things about Jordan and Jonathan both. Way to go Siggy !! His first game in net as an NHLer.

He played 43 seconds, didn't face a shot... but ya gotta get your feet wet somewhere! :D Congrats and continued good luck to Jordan!
