BG vs Akron 1/7/06

Post by PGY Tiercel »

at the half BG is leading 3-21

Ali Mann has become the 19th player to 1000pts, with 12pts in the half, shooting 5-9.

Keep scoring Liz. She will be the 20th player to reach 1000 hopefully in the next 5 or so games, I think.

Anybody have a internet feed that isn't wbgu so I can do more than watch gametracker.

How did Ali Mann have 12 in the first half, while the team only had 3?

41-23 right now with 14 to go. Today may be a great day in BG athletics. Women win, men win at Western, and the icers sweep the Suckeyes. A guy can dream, right?

BG wins 71-54. Ali had 25pts in the game, a new high for her.

Very nice win to start the MAC schedule.

It was a very good game. Decent sized crowd but they didn't seem "into" the game in the second half.

I haven't seen defense and passing like that since Fran Vol was coach. The passing was excellent with TONS of pepper on the ball. The defense was swarming and made the UA shooters hesitate before pulling up a jumper. Awesome.

I arrived just at halftime and went to buy a ticket. The gentleman at the window insisted that entry into the game was free. I insisted he take my money anyway.

After 30 seconds and a confused thankyou from the man, I gave him five skins. It's not the Ath Dept's fault I was late.

Saw Freak and family, Falcon Fanatic (she gave me beads and I didn't even have to show her anything), and Metz (always a pleasure) and father (once again I didn't get to speak with orinthologist so my apologies.)

I'm in my hotel and already on-line. How pathetic am I?*

*No need to answer that.

Oh, not to Pathetic RUIT. Thanks for the "at the game" scoop. Run into anyone else on your way in.

Though why are you back in your room. Isn't there a bar you could be at getting ready for the hockey game.

I just checked in. As soon as I closed my browser, I was on my way to Miles where I ran into and glommed onto Falcon Fanatic, BGFan, and the Freak Family. We eventually found ourselves at BW3 redecorating the place.
