Physical, Physical game tonight. But the boys are by no means backing down. They are going toe to toe. Hope we can keep it up.

Horrell the man again tonight.

Post by FalconBlue »

Finally there is a strong measure of confidence developing in the play of Jon Horrell. He is getting support and has saved the Falcon's time and time again tonight.
If you're ridin' ahead of the herd, take a look back now and then to make sure it's still there.

Great win tonight for the Falcons! Awesome sweep of the Buckeyes! We really had to grind this game out, and it was well worth it. This team has been playing very well lately and I hope they keep it up.
GO BG!!!

Great game Falcons. It was great being able to watch it on TV. I yelled so loud when we got the empty netter, I about woke my grandson up  I bet Markell makes his guys ride all the way back to Cow Town in their uniforms and then has them practice when they get home. I seem to remember that he has been known to do this in the past, hasn't he??? Of course I could be wrong.

The Sweep!

Post by BGSU Crazy Fan 58 »

Wow, this team is playing like I thought they would when I envisioned how sweet this team was gonna be. I knew the boys had it in them.
Awesome PP Goal by Pilkington to open the scoring. I was getting real nervous in that 3rd period but Horrell came up big and the D played real tough. BG gutted this one out tonight and I'm proud of 'em. Pretty good size crowd tonight. Looked real full on FSN and got loud from time to time, especially at the end. So that's 6 in a row and we have the last place Broncos coming to town for 2. How bout another sweep?! And then come back and beat Ferris St. on monday to run the streak to 9!!!
Go Falcons!!!!!!
Roll Along You BG Warriors,
Roll Along and Win for BGSU!!!

Most teams in the league have games in hand. But, still...

The only thing better than beating Zero State is beating them two nights in a row.

Sorry, you're wrong, that was Jerry Welsh that did that to his team!! He made them go straight to bus, with their gear on (no skates), and went straight back to the dink for a late night, long practice!! Can't imagine how that bus must have smelled after a two hour ride back... Can't remember if we beat them the following night there or not. Wow....that was a LONG time ago!!

AWESOME WIN, FALCONS!!!
SWEEP THE BRONCOS!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I really don't know how they'd be able to practice taking cheap shots. I don't think they'd practice on each other. OSU might have talent, but they are a horrible team. We had 8 powerplays tonight but should have had more. For being a nationaly ranked team, they sure play like they are in last place.
