Honestly, as I typed the word temporary, I considered it for a second. If someone catches me at the right moment with some dye, you never know...

Hmm, I'll have to check there. I forgot about that place for a second. I hope it is still there, but they were having a going out of business sale last semester, so we'll see.
Thanks for the heads-up!
A Spencer's or Hot Topic also usually has hair dye or those spray cans.

Wow, I just noticed we're #20 on the PWR.
That's the same 'model' the NCAA uses to select tournament field.

Here's an idea! Color the mohawk orange, and buy a can of brown, spray on, hair like you see on TV to cover up the bald spots. You can spray that all around the mohawk and have brown and orange hair!

Of course, that's assuming the rest of your scalp is shaved clean around the mohawk.

Unfortunately, no. I didn't quite have the 'stones' to take the sides to the scalp. I have short hair around and about a 4 inch high mohawk. It was done as a joke, but I think it'll be around awhile. Keep an eye out at the games!
The good news is, I have brown hair, so I'm half way there already!

I don't boo anymore (except OSU, I couldn't help it) and I am no longer vulgar at the games.
Hearing about the way things used to be really makes me wish they could get to be that way now. Between now and when I graduate (and maybe after, depending on where I live), I will do my best to help get that arena rocking again.
Also, anyone know where I can find some temporary orange hair spray or orange gel? I have a mohawk and would love to color it and spread the spirit at the games.
YOU ROCK!!! That was an awesome post!! We are counting on you to help get the student section headed in the right direction!!

Anyone think we need a reprint of those cheers for the Friday's game???? I would be happy to do it all over again!!

I think a reprint is definitely in order. I know I hadn't figured out all the cheers until after 5 games, I would have loved to see a list. After the sweep of "that team from Columbus", I think there'll be some new faces in the crowd.

I stand up in the reserved seat section and count off the goals and Yell we want more, etc. Of course they look at me as if I am an idiot( :? ).

When my kids were VERY little and we took them to the games, they loved the counting part. And yes, we did have one little wise guy who went to school and counted "1-2-3-4-we want more, we want more." When he refused to go to five(he liked the rhyme)we had to have the dreaded parent conference at nursery school

Hey, FF, that list would make an awesome t-shirt, wouldn't it?

The best part of the goal count in the reeeeeal olden days was when we got to eleven goals and would kick up our foot into the air for number 11.

Of course it has been quite awhile since we hit 11 goals with any regularity.

And by the way. Would everyone please Drop the "C-YA" and the "They Still Suck" cheers. They are Michigan rip-offs which I believe Michigan ripped off from Harvard anyway.

I thought Michigan stole all their cheers from Cornell.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't Harvard, because Harvard would have to have fans before anyone could steal their cheers.

Keith Instone provided me with a stack of those years ago. I still have them, and as soon as that project is top on the list I'll scan them into E-Ticket.
