Wow, what a backfield for some prison - Vick, Stanley, Clarett.

Charged with sexual assault, battery and bail jumping in connection with 2 fights with his girlfriend. A Wisky spokesman says he is suspended but still on the team. These are in addition to the charges from that fight last April.

I would suggest his girlfriend find a new dude...he is trouble with a capital T.

This guy belongs behind bars...and not the kind that serves spirits.

just one more reason to juice.

Joe Thomas will be able to play next season against BG he has a mild tear, also don't think no Calhoun and no Booker means no running game they always reload...from the great Dayne to Micheal Bennett...to Anthony Davis...then Calhoun..it is safe to say they will be ready to run the ball

I think we're all just praying that whoever steps in won't be as dominant as Calhoun. Or maybe our defense will be able to contain the RB a little better than the did against Calhoun.

Exactly, Tricky. If the next Wisky RB is a shade below Calhoun and our defense is a full step better, it's a whole different game.

I think that if AT can perform comparably to what Omar did against Oklahoma, and our defense improves like I think they will, we could have a shot to pull the upset.

If we can hold the Wisky run game in check a little bit (HUGE if), we're in good shape. IMO, Stocco is still terrible and can't beat us by himself. A good performance by the Falcons will make it much easier to sit in Browns Stadium without puking.

This is a sidetrack, but having now seen games in both Heinz and CBS, there is little doubt that CBS is far and away the superior facility. Even the upper deck seats seem like they are right on top of the field, and I couldn't see a bad sightline in the place. The same can't be said for Heinz - that place is a cavern.

Sorry. Carry on! :P

but it's obvious (to me) that the stadium needs some updates. it was SOTA in 1999, but not any longer. the video screens have questionable resolution, the old lightbulb style scoreboards don't work well, and the rolling advertisement thing that is above the club level could stand to go. look at at all the improvements done at the jake and the q. new scoreboards, video boards, etc. make the stadium much more appealing and a much more fun place in which to watch a game. cbs could use some updating, imo.
i wonder who the stadiums biggest corporate sponsor will now be since the lerners have divested themselves of affiliation with mbna. will bank of america foot the bills?

I have no frame of reference since I've never been in CBS, but I love Heinz field. That place rocks when all the crazy Pittsburgh hilljacks start waving their towels around. CBS is probably the better facility though -- I've heard that from others as well, even some people that hate the Browns and The City of Cleveland as much as I do.

Notice the self restraint I used in not making the "at least they play football at Heinz Field" joke?

Does anyone think the type of game on the CBS natural grass field with be any different than on the Field Turf at Camp Randall last year?

You guys are crazy

Post by Badger8843 »

Your only chance of beating us was last year with Sharon, Pope, and Jacobs. Don't try to sit there and fool yourself when your losing all your good Offensive players and think youre going to beat us your crazy. We have everyone back on D and a QB is a 3 year starter who had something like 21 TD's and 9 INT. Don't forget an experinced OL with big boy Thomas back. I will gurantee this game will be a blowout and if someone wants to make a bet on this game all ready let me know I will bet the house against B-flea. You guys talked all that stuff last summer and we beat you at your own game putting up 56 pts with a young D last year. Now everyone is back man I can't wait to shut this board up again, September can't come soon enough for me and my fellow Badgers fans.

Don't think for a second that anyone around here is going to be impressed by 21 TD's and 9 INT's.

What a douche.

We are going to smoke you guys next year. Shut us up if you can.
