GREAT to hear!!! And encourage them to use those papers that have the cheers on them!! The marketing department is putting them out this week!! How cool is that?!!

I am hoping to see some good and loud GOAL COUNTING TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!

GO FALCONS!!
SWEEEEEP THE BRONCOS!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

That is unbelievably cool! I wish I could have helped pass them out this week, but I am very glad to hear that the Marketing Dept. is taking the load off of your shoulders! For all of the flak that they get around here, there truly are some very good people over in that office.

And for all of you going to the game who might be asked where those flyers came from, tell them it was Falcon Fanatic's idea! :D

I by "this week" I meant "last week," of course.

I may be the only one in our section, but if we score a goal I will count it out loud and proud!

I'll agree about the hockey marketing, or lack thereof. I didn't even know we had a home game last Saturday. I sat at home watching a lousy football game, and DEFINITELY would've been there to see the icers beat the Bucks. I guess I need to spend more time on the hockey board, since I never seem to know when we're playing home games...I think I may head out tonight.

If you're a Falcon Club member (or know one :D ) you can hit the Center Ice club between periods for a cold one! We sit in section B about 3 rows up from the chair seats if you want to meet and go over there between periods.

I am a member, and I've never yet taken advantage of that fact :)

Where in the arena is the club? Never noticed it before...

The back doors at the end of the main hallway between the arena and the curling rink. You'll see a sign in the window.

They've been carrying Guiness this year for Dayon and me. Now, if I could just get a shot of Jagr to go with it! :D

Emailing... Posters... Chalk on Sidewalk... Table Tents... all have been done... I did those when I worked in the athletic departmetn at BG... its called apathy towards a team that hasn't done a whole lot in the better part of a decade... win and the kids will come... its as simple as that... no amount of marketing can make kids show up just beacuse you market the game...

Oh, I don't know about that. Student turnout always seem to be extremely high on free t-shirt nights.
