Saturday Night

Post by BGSU Crazy Fan 58 »

Hahaha no it did not, but anyone can get the standings easily from ccha.com, so don't worry about it.
Anyways Pilkington just scored on the Powerplay to tie the game at 2!!! His second goal of the night! WMU was up 2-0 but we've battle back. All 4 goals have come in the 2nd period. Spratt in net for BG. Just over 3 minutes left in the 2nd period. Go Falcons!!!!!!!!! Pull it out!!!
Roll Along You BG Warriors,

3-2 Falcons at the end of the second period!! Does anybody know who scored the second goal??? The Play-by-play guy for Western never said who scored. This guy is the worst!! He's so unprofessional it's not even funny. What a freakin' homer. Unbelievable!! Anyway, let's go boys...hold it down in the third and let's get out of there with a win.

GO FALCONS!!!!!

FALCONS WIN!!! THE STREAK STARTS ANEW!!! 8)

5-2 final. Hell of an offensive and defensive effort, and Spratt started to show some significant signs of the goalie that we all were hoping he would be. I still like Horrell for the remainder of the year, but our net will be in good hands for years to come, which is nice! :D

Now...BEAT THE BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!! :partyman:

Here is something to ponder. As everyone knows, the standings in the CCHA are about as tight as I've ever seen them. Given the results from this weekend, had we won on Friday night AND if we win tomorrow night we could have vaulted into second place in the league! As it is, if we win tomorrow night we'll be in fourth place.

Now the bad news, after tomorrow night we'll have played 18 league games. The only team ahead of us that has played that many is NMU who is currently in second place. Michigan has only played 13, MSU - 15, OSU and LSSU each have played 16, and Miami has played 17. Every team behind us also has games in hand on us. It's going to be tough to maintain our position in the league so we cannot afford to lose games like we did Friday night!

Take nobody lightly and play each team like we're playing OSU! We must keep winning, otherwise we'll sink like a lead balloon!

We know you can do it! Just win!
