How can EMU be favored over any team in the MAC other than CMU? I see how much respect BG has from the oddsmakers.

Normally the oddsmakers give the home team a 3 point edge. Meaning that if the oddsmakers think that a team is 10 points better than the other team and are playing on the road, they will usually put them as a 7 point favorite. The BG spread means that they think it is an even game, and they are giving EMU the edge based on being at home.

Right! Meaning oddsmakers would list us as a .5 point favorite on a neutral court, or 3.5 favorite at Anderson Arena.
