Many loyal BG hockey fans have said " I'll be d---ed if I am going to donate any money to that institution"
and "why would I want to subject myself to that treatment?"

The answer to that question is to show support for our guys.
If Scooter can get comp tickets I will go, otherwise, gotta think on that one.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Yup, I'll be up there with a bud of mine, in section 10, behind the goal Michigan defends twice. Hopefully I'll see some goals in period 1 and 3! GO BG!

Would be there rc, however upon checking Mgoblue, the only tickets available were $27.00 a piece (I thought Worstern was bad) and on top of that, no two were together. :( See everyone Saturday after a trip to the bookstore.

Freak gonna be there?

Fortunately, Johnson won't be suited up Friday night. Unfortunately, due to the irreverant wisdom of Red Berenson, the CCHA and the NCAA, though, he will be playing on Saturday. I just hope he doesn't hurt anyone - especially if we beat them on Friday (which I think there is a good chance of - the 'Goons are hurtin' right now).

That being said, I can't tell you how bummed out I am about not being able to go up to Yost for the game tomorrow. Over the past few years, it kind of became a tradition for me to go up there for our games, and get some Mr. Spots beforehand. As evil as Michigan is, Mr. Spots always made it feel like home - in a strange "I hope I don't get mugged" sort of way... :(

Unless he really is as dense as he's shown at times, I'd be shocked if he pulled anything cheap on Saturday, coming off a one-game suspension and knowing that another DQ would keep him out of a whole series with Sparty.

Ann Arbor radio station this morning said something like up to 7 inches or something like that. Also said it wasn't supposed to start until about 3AM. Hopefully, the game's over by then.

I wish BC! I had originally planned on getting to BG tomorrow for women's hoops and hockey but then found out it was the Freaklings Y hoops league picture day. Next time I'll be getting to BG is 2/4 & 2/18.

Everyone travel safely and get a BiG ole BG win!!
