Role Call for Yost
Just checking to see if anyone else is planning to head up to Ann Arbor Friday night? I'm goin up with a group of 8-10 so we'll be representing that upper corner up there. Anyone else?

Many loyal BG hockey fans have said " I'll be d---ed if I am going to donate any money to that institution"
and "why would I want to subject myself to that treatment?"
The answer to that question is to show support for our guys.
If Scooter can get comp tickets I will go, otherwise, gotta think on that one.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Fortunately, Johnson won't be suited up Friday night. Unfortunately, due to the irreverant wisdom of Red Berenson, the CCHA and the NCAA, though, he will be playing on Saturday. I just hope he doesn't hurt anyone - especially if we beat them on Friday (which I think there is a good chance of - the 'Goons are hurtin' right now).redskins4ever wrote:Johnson will break some bones... and probably not his own... dirty dirty man.
That being said, I can't tell you how bummed out I am about not being able to go up to Yost for the game tomorrow. Over the past few years, it kind of became a tradition for me to go up there for our games, and get some Mr. Spots beforehand. As evil as Michigan is, Mr. Spots always made it feel like home - in a strange "I hope I don't get mugged" sort of way...

Unless he really is as dense as he's shown at times, I'd be shocked if he pulled anything cheap on Saturday, coming off a one-game suspension and knowing that another DQ would keep him out of a whole series with Sparty.Bleeding Orange wrote:I just hope he doesn't hurt anyone - especially if we beat them on Friday (which I think there is a good chance of - the 'Goons are hurtin' right now).

Ann Arbor radio station this morning said something like up to 7 inches or something like that. Also said it wasn't supposed to start until about 3AM. Hopefully, the game's over by then.FindlayFalcon wrote:Drive safely everyone. Ann Arbor and SE Michigan is under a Winter Storm Watch tonight--rain turning to snow.
I'll be listening to the game. Goooooo Falcons.
