What Will It Take?

Post by Rollo83 »

What conference record do you think we'll need to have to get a first round MAC tourney game at Anderson Arena?

I think a 9-9 record gets us one for sure, and maybe 8-10 as well? That means we'll have to go 6-7 or 5-8 the rest of the way to have a realistic chance. That will be a tall order given our remaining schedule. We are going to have to beat some of the East power teams (Ohio, Kent State, Miami, Buffalo) to reach those records. I win on Saturday would sure help.

I like our chances of getting to Cleveland a lot better if we play that first round game at home rather than on the road. It would great for the development of this young team if they could get some tournament experience this year.

Honestly , I'm not thinking about getting 1st Rnd byes and all that. Lets just take one game at a time right now. If we're talking the ladies that might be a little different.

I don't think he was talking about a bye. I'm just sayin'...

What...you don't think a first round home game is an automatic bye?
