To me it looks as though Floyd is just too slow on defense. He is slow getting through the screens, and is chasing way to much. On that three that tied it at 23, he got beat and the rest of the team got caught trying to help out and couldn't recover. But I am impressed with Marschall, forgive me for my spelling errors.

We could easily be up by double digits. Free throws are horible. Floyd is not good. Marschall has been impressive. We look like the better team. The video feed from Ball State is fantastic. Why can't we do this?

You can tell that there is still too much passing around the perimeter at times. I would really like to see the shot go up when we get sideline penetration. We are beating there guys on the perimeter mainly towards the baseline, but we are then swinging it baseline to the other side of the floor. I want to see them stop hit that 10-15 foot jumper a little bit. That would open things up a little bit more. I think defensively they are doing a very good job of rotating over and helping out. It does seem as though that the screen in giving us some problems. Instead of the big man helping out and stepping up on the ball screen to help the guard out, they are laying back and forcing the guard to play catch up a little bit. But that is just the coach in me. And it sure as hell is always easier to see those things when you aren't actually coaching the game, but observing.
