HEARTBREAKER II

Post by BGSU33 »

Man I hate close loses, especially one-point defeats. Two of our last four MAC games have been loses by just one measly point. Honestly, I'd rather lose by 10-12 than by one. When we lose by one, I think back to every missed free throw, shot and turnover throughout the game and think how just one of those possessions the other way could have made the difference between a win and a loss. Don’t get me wrong, it's great to see us competing hard and I can appreciate that a lot. But these close losses are hard to take. It’s scary to think we are “this close” to being 5-1 instead of 3-3. Well, let’s bounce back and beat Buffalo.

Ball State rotates deep and has a lot of talent. I'm surprised they haven't won more. They have some horses. We controlled most of the game, but locked up late.

Just got back from Toledo, watched my Bobcats chalk up another win and another road victory. I see the Falcons coughed up another lead and lost another game by one. Ha ha ha! If you guys could stop blowing leads and quit choking at the end of games, you could be atop the MAC East with us. Enjoy life at the bottom of the East and get used to it, you'll be back there for football next year too. O-H-I-O, OHIO OHIO...OOOOOOO!!!!!

I'm so happy you can become cocky after your school's athletics being worthless for so long.

Have a nice night and congratulations on showing success in those spelling courses.

I love to see the Falcons lose and all but I may make an exception when you all play ohio u. All the OOOOs at the end of this are symbolic of ou's total MAC football wins next year?

I must say, it's nice of BG to be giving teams their first MAC win this year. You gave Western Michigan it's first, you gave Ball State it's first, and I see you have Eastern Michigan yet on the schedule so I'm sure they'll be getting their first MAC win against you too.

Be my guest. Make sure you clean up, turn out the lights, and lock the door.

If the cops ask, I didn't see anything.

BG's biggest problem in hoops, aside from the FACT you can't keep kids in school there because they keep leaving every year, is your point guard play. If you have a good PG, you'll win in the MAC. Floyd just sucks. And the funny part is, that might be the first thing I’ve said that some of you actually agree with me on. Why you guys took this kid in when he transferred is beyond me. He couldn't play at Oakland and he has shown over the years he can't play at BG either. No way should he be seeing the floor unless you need to foul. You guys should be hoping WHEN you have players transfer after this season that he's the one, and the only one. For every one good game he has, he turns around and plays a bunch of crap in ten others. The highlight of his career will probably be scoring the game-winning basket against Virginia Tech on a shot he missed and was tipped in by a Hokie that was credited to him. He's slow, out of control and a turnover or bad shot waiting to happen. Robinson runs the point better, but he can't score, and when he’s on the floor, it’s like playing four on five on offense for you guys. I think Wright is more of a SG than PG, but he’s a pretty good player but fouls way too much. But with Floyd and Robinson as your PGs is why you are and will finish in the cellar of the MAC East.

If you hate us so much then why do you know so much about us? I couldn't tell you the first thing about your team other than your defense gives up over 500 yards of offense to us every year...wait that's football...yeah I know nothing about your basketball team because i don't like your school. Make sense?

'Cuz I know about everything there is to know about MAC hoops and football, that's why. I wouldn't be talking about what I do without being able to back it up. And it's okay you don't know much about Ohio, because all you need to know is we are the best team in the MAC, we're going to kick BG's @ss a few times this year and we'll be cutting down the nets in Cleveland before going back to the NCAA Tournament - again. BG will finish with a losing record, more players will transfer after the season, and you'll be saying "maybe next year" with 1968 in the back of your mind - even if you weren't born yet.
