Thoughts?...thoughts?....my brain is FRIED!!! After last night's game....grrrr.....then tonight's TOTAL turnaround....wow!!!! Fantastic effort tonight by everyone!!!!! Unfreakin' believable game....GREAT CROWD, GREAT NOISE...I am tired....just wiped out!!!.....BUT IN A GOOD WAY!!!! :supz:

The neatest thing...after the clock ran down and the guys were starting to jump over the boards, saw Spratt just sprinting towards Horrell, with arms up in the air, to congratulate him, he was SOOOO excited!!! Very neat!! It shows that it doesn't matter who played in this game, the win was for EVERYONE on the team!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS, FALCON ICERS!!!
YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

OK, not ashamed to admit that I just kind of cried again...

God, what an awesome, awesom night!

The race by Spratt to Horrell was great. What was also great was to see Pooch pumping his fist in the air. Yes, Pooch, you finally beat the weasels and wow, what a way to win!!! The crowd, the noise, the great hockey. It was like being taken back about 20 years.

Did you notice the awesome silence from the weasel fans after the 5th goal?

I think that I heard some one mentioning a human sacrifice to the gods of hockey or the ghost of yost.

I refuse to try to 'rank' these games any other way, so I'll just list them as "ALL TIME TOP 5 GAMES AT BGSU ICE ARENA" listed chronologicaly...

3/18/1978: BG beats Colorado College 5-3 in the first NCAA tournament game ever played in a CCHA arena.

3/9/1979: Paul Titanic's penalty shot is the game winner in BG's 5-3 win over OSU in CCHA tournament opening round game.

12/3/1983: BG (nationally ranked #3) beats OSU (ranked #1) 8-6 on three third period power play goals...all this after trailing 3-0 and 5-2.

1-13-1990: BG 9, Michigan 8 in overtime...can't remember any details of that game...just that I couldn't sleep for a week after it was over.

1-21-2005: WOW!

sure wish Saturday's game was on TV instead of Friday's. Can anyone please comment on effect of Hodgie and Schmidt switching positions hodgie to right D and Schmidt to left? Better, same, any thoughts? By the way, thanks Pilk!!

Freddie,
Do not get a swollen head, but once again you are right-on with your
picks of the best games ever. Congrats you agree with me.
The OSU game when we spotted then 3 goals and came back to win; tree-mendous!
The Colo College game wow, the party at the Country Club after the CC victory was great also, we need to do that again, return of the traditions.
I wish that I had been there for the 3/25/79 NCAA Consolation game, we beat Wisconsin. Markell, Shutt, Morrow et al, what a team!

I REMEMBER THAT GAME!

I remember because I was really pissed that I missed it (illness).

It's okay. I will forever remember missing this Michigan game because I was dead tired and couldn't stand up.

That's no excuse to miss a game!!

Anything less than being in the hospital in a coma is a lousy excuse to miss a hockey game.
