As for BG, I also can’t wait for February 4th when we win at BGSU and when we play on March 4th at the Convo, it’ll be no contest. So bring your John Floyd led team on the court, we’re shaking in our shoes. You see, Ohio plays for MAC championships, MAC titles and NCAA Tournament appearance. BG plays boring basketball with a hot-headed coach that owns a rotating door that produces more transfers to other schools than most junior colleges. I dare you to find any D-1 school that has had as many transfers as BG. Before you strain your mind too much, I’ll save you the energy, there isn’t any. Think about it, if even just Ron Lewis were still at BG, you guys would be pretty good. I’d even venture to say if Lewis were still at BG, he’d be MAC player of the year this season. But he’s not, and that’s one more reason you won’t contend and why you will continue to lead the MAC in mass exodus for transfers. The funny thing is, if you guys could keep players there, you could be pretty good.
As for football, there's no question we have not have a glamorous history on the gridiron, no doubt. But that is all about to change, and you will experience this first hand when you come down to Athens this year. Remember, not long ago, Ohio owned BG from 1996-2000 winning four of five games. In fact, we destroyed BG 38-0 and 24-0 in back-to-back years. We’ll be much better this year, and BG is going to be way down from what was a very underachieving team to begin with. We’ve got a stud QB transfer from Illinois (see, they come here, they don’t leave like they do at BG) to spark our passing game to help complement our running game, and our defense will be ever better this season. BG can’t say it will be better anywhere next season, with the exception of special teams, and that’s a given since they were about the worst they could be. BG will lose to Ohio.
So while we start cleaning house in football and men’s hoops, the sports everyone cares about in first place (it’s okay, I’ll say it for those of you that know it and won’t say it yourself), BG can have success in whatever women’s sports it wants. But I have a question though, how can you have so many good women’s basketball teams and retain so many good players and win MAC titles and go to the NCAA Tournament in women’s basketball, and never do the same in men’s hoops? What is the problem?

Is this for real????
Keep dreaming, Kitty Cat. Ohio will get manhandled in football again next year but you should be used to it by now...I mean it's only been happening for 40 years. BTW, in the last 20-25 years, Ohio has won 4 times. FOUR.
You keep saying how Ohio is gonna be this great team...but it never happens. LOL Meow!
"You see, Ohio plays for MAC championships, MAC titles and NCAA Tournament appearance. "
Not in football ya don't...that's our domain.
Just substitute Bowl games for NCAA tourney appearances.
Tell ya what...this has been fun and all but I think I'll end my rant. Obviously you live in a fantasy world and have nothing better to do than troll this board. And frankly, I wasted enough time on this as it is. Have a great Falcon day.
