The '83 OSU game was the first hockey game I'd ever seen. From that point on we've rarely ever missed a home game. The arena only sat 3000 at the time and we didn't get there until about 30 minutes before the game started. We stood the whole game on the steps in section A.
(I could have sworn that we were ranked second, however, and not third.)

Ah yes. The Ice Arena before the enclosure. I remember that. My trusty all sports pass allowing me to get a ticket on Monday or Tuesday BEFORE the game so I was assured of getting inside the Ice Arena.BGFan wrote:The arena only sat 3000 at the time and we didn't get there until about 30 minutes before the game started.

Trust me - if you'd had the day I'd had, you'd cut me some slack. Besides, its not like I make a habit of it... And I certainly learned my lesson, didn't I?McConvey wrote:That's no excuse to miss a game!!SaxyIrishTenor wrote: It's okay. I will forever remember missing this Michigan game because I was dead tired and couldn't stand up.
Anything less than being in the hospital in a coma is a lousy excuse to miss a hockey game.
