Hmmm....BG has, what, 6 or 7 Freshman on this team and yet they beat UT by a bigger margin than your "world beaters" OU squad?
Technically it's 6, but I only count 5, because Sullivan is not really on the team.

The worst part about this team, IMO, is that they aren't really all that young. It's fun to say they're a young team because they've got 5 freshmen on the roster, but almost all the minutes are actually going to upper classmen. The only Freshman to play serious minutes is Marschall, next is probably Dusan and he's even had a couple games of not playing at all.

Look at our top minutes guys:

Floyd -- Jr.
LeFeld -- Jr.
Soler -- Sr.
Wright -- Sr./Jr.
Moon -- So.
Samarco -- Jr.

Next year does offer some chance to improve, however, as all of these guys but Soler should be back. Add in that the Freshmen will be a year older and hopefully we'll be an improved team next year.

And, not to count my Falcons before they hatch, but Larson should add some depth at the 4/5.

That would be awesome if it happened. Can you even imagine how good it would feel to finally not have any players leave this summer? Seriously, it seems like the past four or five years, that's all we ever have to talk about in the offseason. And like many of you, I am just sick and tired of it for whatever the reasons are for so many players leaving. The sad part is, it's become so much a part of BG basketball in recent years, I just have a gut feeling it's going to happen yet again. I hope I am wrong, I really do, because we will never be the team we hope to be like we were several years ago if all we ever do is rebuild year after year. It would just be awesome to return everyone (but Soler) next year, have Sullivan eligible, and bring in our new class. If that could happen, we could have a very good team next season.

I was just pointing out to our friend that we have a lot of new faces on this team. Soler is the only player I see not returning next year so that bodes well for BG.
