73 - 76 BU

Man, that technical KILLED us. Seriously, a technical (for being on the floor) in a 3 point game, with 0:18 seconds left. Has anyone ever seen a game where the coaches were NOT on the floor. WOW

Can't wait to hear DD.

I can truthfully say: The OFFICIALS decided the outcome of that game tonight and not even Buffalo can argue that!!!
The technical on DD was ridiculous, especially after Coach Witherspoon was to mid court throwing a "hissy fit" earlier in the game with no repercussions.
the fouls were about 17-8 in the second half in favor of Buffalo and they shot 27 compared to our 7, and four of those 7 were from their goon and his intentional foul and technical.
ok, I feel better now, but MAC officiating HAS TO CHANGE,,,,,,,they are destroying the game.

If you weren't at the game, please reserve comment on the technical. No one with a conscience can argue against it. He was all over the officials who were very generous to us all night (ladies and gentlemen, we foul A LOT and ALL THE TIME) and he was nearly at half court when it was called.

Floyd had a handful of Cage's jersey all night long and it was called twice or three times. And yes Metz, he still does very little to help this team. 3 good possessions do not qualify as a solid night from your point guard.

Mawi was involved in yet another fracass with a Buffalo player drawing both a T and an intentional foul. Take a wild guess as to who initiated it?

Marschall disappeared for long stretches, Lefeld was a non-factor for the majority of the night and Samarco kept us in it again with what seemed like a ton of threes.

Yeah, I know we'll get the argument that we SHOULD be 6-1, but we're not . . . in the words of Charlie Weiss, "you are what you are" and right now we're a 7-10 team that is 3-4 in the conference for a reason.

How do you expect to get to the foul line when we have no inside prescence, most guys were getting cleanly stripped all night and we settled for how many 23+ ft. 3 pointers?

Curious question... what was the crowd like? At times on the radio broadcast it sounded like a good number, but other times it sounded like the band was about all that was there...

Crowd was small and not very vocal unless you count the old lady that sits high in the student section and the technical of course.

Hey, I think we were being vocal!

I've sat in front of her a few times. I usually can't hear in one ear after a game because she is so loud. :o

Metz, you guys did a solid job as usual though some of the chants were hard to make out what was being said and the like and the leader of the Sideline Squad got quite the reaction from one of the referees although they weren't that bad.

Actually the ref was talking to both of us. I said something really loud, he repeated and he looked at both of us. He was joking with us all night though, it's all good.

Tonight's crowd lived out the phrase "you can't give these tickets away."
