Bowling Green State University softball standout Gina Rango has been selected to the 2005 Easton All-America team. Rango, a junior in 2005, was chosen to the third team, it was announced Wednesday afternoon.
Rango is the first-ever Falcon chosen to the Easton All-America squad, and is the first BGSU softball All-American of any kind since 1988. Amy Lienhardt earned second-team honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association that year.
Also, BG was picked by the MAC softball coaches to win the East Division in 2006, followed by Miami and Kent State.
CMU was picked to win the West and the MAC Title, followed by WMU and EMU...
