Technically the Wisconsin game is a home game not @.

And before anyone else can ask it, I will "Don't we play Michigan?"

Thanks for the catch. I changed it to "vs." since it is a home game but will be played in Cleveland.

I'll speculate that Kent's other OOC game is either I-AA or Temple; I'll also further speculate that Temple is one of Akron's other OOC games.

I've dug up and added a few more non-conference opponents next season for Akron, Kent State and Buffalo to the first post in this thread. That leaves just one open non-conference game for both Ohio and Akron to round out the MAC East non-conference schedules. I am still trying to figure out a few of the MAC West crossover games for Akron, Miami, Kent State and Buffalo to finish out the 2006 MAC East schedules. If anyone can help provide this info, pass it along and I'll add it to the orginal post with the list.

A key is not only which MAC teams we play, but when we play them. If I remember correctly from an earlier post, we have a favorable MAC schedule in terms of when we play the "tougher" teams.

I think we play mostly "easier" teams early in the season. This would be a real plus in getting experience for some of our younger players, e.g., Anthony Turner.

According to Boston College, it looks like Ohio will open the season with a game at home against Boston College. Although, Ohio hasn't announced it yet and there is some talk it is a tentative game. But if it stands, that's a very nice home-opener opponent. Any time you can get an ACC school to play you at home it's a bonus. Miami also hosts Northwestern at home, which is a nice opponent as well. In the MAC West, Toledo will host Kansas and Ball State will host Indiana as well. Again, if anyone can help me figure out more of the games for the schedules above, I'll add them into the list.
