AWESOME WIN!

Just looked at the box score. 34-35 from the stripe?!

Not one among us - admittedly even myself - gave us even a fleeting chance of winning this game. When even our own fans had become so pessimistic about this team that they refused to give us even a fleeting shot against KSU, yes, this was a win of consequence.

Yes, there are going to be a lot of people that jump on the bandwagon with myself and Metz, now, but, I still maintain that this is a very dangerous, and capable TEAM.
I don't want to downplay the win...it was HUGE.

I mistook your earlier post. When you said that people told you this team couldn't win anything, I was thinking along the lines of earning home court or winning a tourney game. To which I say, we still have a long way to go to earn home court, etc.

Certainly last night's win was of consequence, and is probably the biggest win for this team since McLeod left. I listened to that whole game and was just in awe of what I was hearing. We couldn't really pull away until late, but every time KSU hit a bucket we were able to answer and keep the lead at 3-4 points throughout most of the 2nd half. Great effort, and great coaching job last night. No doubt about it.
