Yo, OhioSlobcat, aren't you going to tell us what you look like and what you'll be wearing so we know who you are at the game this Saturday? We all want to meet you.OhioBobcat wrote:Nothing like having BG on the schedule next to break a losing streak.

Why, you looking for a date or something? I hate to break it to you, but I don't swing that way. But if you must know what I look like, I'll be the one cheering loud and proud as my Cats leave BG with a win.BleedOrange wrote:Yo, OhioSlobcat, aren't you going to tell us what you look like and what you'll be wearing so we know who you are at the game this Saturday? Dude, you won't beat Kent State. I mean heck, they just made Ohio look bad tonight. Not only that, but if you play Kent in the tournament its going to be a home game for Kent State. I've been to several MAC tournaments, and Kent State ALWAYS packs the house. Not like last year's final, where the attendance was horrible for Ohio-Buffalo.OhioBobcat wrote:I'll say it again and again, we'll beat BG, we'll win the MAC Tournament and we'll be back in the NCAA Tournament.BGDrew wrote:Losing streak? Miami is another team you guys won't be beating in the tournament. They destroyed us tonight, just on the heels of kicking Ohio in the butt last week. Also, don't sleep on Akron, they are perfectly capable of pulling out the tournament this year as well. The way I see it, Ohio is in at best 4th place in the conference, maybe 5th depending on where you place NIU, and that isn't going to intimidate anybody come MAC tournament. If anything, I would would say your rivals over in Oxford are the favorites right now, they seem to be clicking on all cylinders.

We're right where we were last year in the standings, and we won it then and we'll do it again. But first, we'll beat BG and I hope you're there to see it for yourself.bgsufalcon24 wrote:Dude, you won't beat Kent State. I mean heck, they just made Ohio look bad tonight. Your team doesn't have the toughness or the character to win it this year. You snuck in last year when everybody was looking past you. TOS has hit his apex. He'll never see again what he was so lucky to do last year (tip-in). Secretly, you know this. That's why you're talking sh1t now before OU has actually accomplished anything. Hopefully, you're getting it out of your system because you're getting stale.OhioBobcat wrote:We're right where we were last year in the standings, and we won it then and we'll do it again. Get ahead of myself? Oh yeah, it's only Wednesday night and we don't beat BG until Saturday afternoon. I guess I am a few days ahead of myself. Thanks for clearing that up for me.svillefalcon wrote:MAC Championship? NCAA bid? yuore dreamin buddy, you guys cant even win a game right now, dont get ahead of yourself.

I don't know how anyone whose team has lost the last three games, and barely beat Toledo right before that, can possibly try to make a prediction that they will win the tournament. The tournament is all about matchups first of all, and it really doesn't look like you're matching up very well with any of the better teams right now. I would wait until you get a few wins in a row under your belt before you start making statements that, right now, your team can't back up. But you know, I love when you start going on with stupid statements, because you get to remind us that we are smarter fans than you. We are at least realistic with our team and their expectations. Hell, I would say that we don't give our team enough credit a lot of the times. We did get a little overconfident during the football season, but I think we really had a right to be, but then we realized that we were going to struggle in a couple of areas, and most of us toned it down. You don't tone anything down, even in the midst of a three game losing streak. Why don't you just wait until after the game is played, and then come back to us and say something if you win. Right now, I wouldn't consider that a great assumption. That's all I've got to say about that.
That might be true, but there is a difference. Last year at this time you were turning the corner after a 1-3 conference start, this year you are going into the dumper.OhioBobcat wrote:We're right where we were last year in the standings, and we won it .
It is very possible that OU will win the MAC tourney but you are making some awfully bold predictions for a team coming off of losses of 12, 14, and 13.

Kent apparantly went from a really bad team when BG beat them AT Kent to a really good team when they beat ou AT ou a week later.
And Ohiobobcat apparantly isn't quite sure which way he/she swings unless he/she knows BleedOranges' gender. Maybe OBC is a little ambiguous? I probably shouldn't weigh in but since EVERYBODY is pounding us I have to find some way to entertain myself.

I sincerely hope BG takes Ohio to the house. Just to shut up OhioBobHusker. Really! I mean, if BG does, I'll make you all a deal. I'll learn Forward Falcons and record myself singing it and some mod can force OBH to listen to it.

Again, OU was very, very overated this year. Sorry OHCat. Essentially, it's the same team as last year, which only finished a couple games over .500. OU had a hot March last year, that's it. They weren't the best team in the MAC last year and they are not the best team in the MAC this year. Shoot, they aren't the 4th best team in the MAC this year.
