I wanted to go so I signed up to go with BG's little pep band that we took since it was over fall break and the whole marching band would not be there. When first arriving, our bus broke down and we had to push it around 2 turns and up a hill to the stadium. This wouldn't have been so bad but we were pushing a campus shuttle through the middle of tu's tailgating! Upon entering the stadium, I realized it was balls cold outside. We were pouring rubbing alcohol in our instruments to keep them from freezing up. When you emptied your spit valve, it turned to ice on the way out. Yay for spit icicles!! On top of all this, we lost 42-24 which I'm sure many of you know. I just hated going through all that game to see our defense come out so sloppy. Mix that with the offense not clicking and you have Harris only through for 165 yards and tossing 2 picks.
I remember that game well. My cousin is a UT student so we went with him. We had good reserved seat tickets, but sat in the student section so we could hang with him. Of course the lovely event staff at Toledo didn't like having BG people sitting in the UT student section so they escorted us to our reserve seats on the 50 yard line. Of course we had to kick a couple of guys out of our seats and they had to go back to the GA section

LOL The worst was this guy escorting all the way around the stadium, and then he took the beers we had brought in! What a prick!
A worse UT experience than that was the one 2 years previous though. It was far & away the coldest football game experience in my life. And of course BG lost by about 35-40 points, as I recall. It was ugly. My UT student friend & I were among the few people that stayed throughout the game. Everyone else either left or was huddling in the bathrooms to stay warm.
Although I think my least favorite memories have to be from the 2000 season. The Pitt home opener was ugly as Antonio Bryant made our poor secondary (starting 2 or 3 freshmen) look terrible. We got absolutely torched that game (Bryant won the Biletnikoff that year). Although my truly worst memory was the week prior when I made the trip to Ann Arbor. Not only did our young secondary get torched in that game as well (David Terrell anyone?), but it was a freshman John Navarre that did it (Henson was hurt). We then had to hear how he was the second coming of Dan Marino cuz he threw for 320 yards in his first ever game. However, the lowest of the low came in the 2nd half when the BG cheerleaders decided to start cheering for the other team. THAT was an all time low and absolutely my worst memory as a Falcon fan. Watching BG's cheerleaders begin cheering for Michigan far outweighs any losses that we suffered on the field in my time as a fan.
Oh yeah, did I mention we were like 2-9 that season!? And wasted a year of Harris eligibility so he could play RB?! 2 games AFTER Blackney announced his resignation!?!? Talk about the lowest of the low
