From what I listened to and the stats of the game it looked like no one really had a great offensive night (Steve 1-8 and Moten 2-7). Floyd just stepped up because no one was shooting well. He was 6-10 and when anyone is shooting like that I would not consider that being a ballhog. You can't say that Floyd was a ballhog tonight when there was no one alse there scoring besides Samarco. He just stepped up and tried to help the team tonight. That should not be his role but he had to take it on tonight. I am just saying give the kid credit when credit is due
The biggest problem we had today was only getting 17 minutes out of Matt and that kills especially with Marschall out. The lack of an inside presence hurt. EriK would have helped a lot tonight.

Yee-Gad!
Due to work, I got there at half-time. My gosh, BG looked really bad. Miami looked good because they had so many wide open shots.
Midway through the second half the Falcons looked tired. Maybe fatigue is what led to so many turnovers but the Falcons made a number of horrible passes. MU looked like the better team, the smarter team and even the more athletic team. (Never thought I'd say that about Miami.)
The only encouraging note is BG kept moving and working hard throughout the whole game. They worked hard, but not smart. It's back to the drawing board for BG. We had no offense and our defense gave up 77 to Miami. Miami.
The best part about the game was DD's orange tie.
Furthermore, I repeat: When BG considers building an on-campus arena to replace AA, they need to visit Millet to find out what not to do. That place is a theatre where no one is interested in the play. It is quiet and dull. I saw the Kinks there in '80 and it is a good place to see a concert though.

Agree. It reminds be of junior high BB - we had a game at Port Clinton and the court was literally on a stage. You had to be careful of not falling off the stage when chasing after a loose ball! Weird.Furthermore, I repeat: When BG considers building an on-campus arena to replace AA, they need to visit Millet to find out what not to do.
