It was when I was young and I didn't inhale.

Actually marching with only like 3/4 of a band? That would suck. :?
Uhm, from what I heard the field sucked. So they did the park and blow to not totally annihalate the pants. And Miami's gets you one? credit hour, I honestly don't recall how much credit I got. I did it for the love of doing it.

Psh. Wusses. That's what drycleaners are for. And that's why we wear BROWN pants-- matches the mud.

No, but really-- I'm sure I heard that they didn't have all of their members present, or something like that, due to marching in the Macy's day parade like the day before (I think).

No, the full Miami band did not march the MACC on '03. More came than didn't, but it wasn't the full band. The game was on the Saturday after Thanksgiving (if memory serves) and they had just gotten back sometime Friday from marching at Macy's.

And I agree with Flicc. Real marching bands march no matter what the weather, field conditions, or color of pants!!!

I am proably going to eat those last words by sunrise, aren't I?

They did do Macy's that year, and will be doing Macy's again in '08.(I believe.)

Goofy, don't be a hatta. It's not the bands fault BG crashed and burned during the game. Or that Miami's band is better.

Bando, I hate because I love...wait a second, what I am saying?!?!?!

Seriously though, you take our crap, and typically give back about as good as you get. I can and do respect fellow bandsmen. I may disagree with your choice of schools, but I can respect what you guys do.
