Hello Fellow Falcons!!!

Post by 87boneleader90 »

I just spent the past few days with Dr. Jay Jackson. He told me about this site and I have been reading for a couple of hours now. Wow...lots of memories coming back. I wish I could make it back to alumni band. I miss it so badly!

Mark and Delaine...I love the pic with the backbends. I know how old you guys are, you should be pleased you can still do that...LOL

Well, hey Jeff. Welcome to the asylum and our clique known as "The Arrogant Alumni."

How is Jay and why the heck doesn't he register a sock puppet?

Dr. J. is doing well. I had him to my school to work with my bands. The kids enjoyed it. It was great to sit and talk with him. It had been awhile. After reading through some of the stuff here, I am learning ALOT about why things are so...how should I say it?...DIFFERENT now with the FMB.

Different would be an appropriate word.

as I understand the older (and I use that very lovingly) alumni, different is a very nice word.

It depends upon the context..... and it also depends upon what you mean by "nice."

Whenever my mom says "different" or "interesting", you know she really hates it..... :?

Allow me to shed some light on some relativity here.

Now if much better than 4 years ago.

Now is not as good (and i'm speaking in traditions only here) as in years past.

This year the band looked and sounded as good as anything we had in the late 80's/early 90's.

Some traditions have to see it's way back (e.g. BUFFO - and yes, I'm still hung up on that.)
