THe Notre Dame gam on Saturday, the 18th, is a B!G day!!!!! We get beheaded at the first intermission!!!! Come to the women's game at 1:00, the men's game at 3:30 to find out who the other Freddie and Frieda and SICSIC are, and then go to the Hockey game!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry to have been 'off line' all weekend, and unable to respond to the challenge from that 'other' Freddie. 'Mano a mano'?...but you're a BIRD... yes, a fearsome bird of prey, but still a BIRD! I'm afraid that I simply cannot allow myself to get involved in any competition that crosses the natural boundries between species. To accecpt this 'calling out' from a being so far beneath my position on the food chain would violate my sence of fair play.

Beneath your position on the food chain?!!? Are you implying that you would eat FALCONS!?!? I'll Have PETA all over you in second and those people are WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY more scary that a fight to the death with a falcon!

Besides, after careful consideration, it was determined by Frieda that it would be a bad idea for the mascot to begin dueling with the fans. I think that would be a grea fundraising oppurtunity, but, for now, we just have to see each other at sporting events!

Your challenge infers a vicious hand-to-hand fight to the death, complete with blood curdling 'screeeeeeches', and references to ritual decapitation.

I graciously decline your challenge, citing my ethical reluctance to take advantage of my intellectual and biological superiority.

You, then (by some miracle of convoluted logic) attempt to paint my kindly
refusal to take advantage of you as 'unethical' or cruel.

I am proud of my heritage as a carnivor, and make no appologies for the fact that I routinely munch on the flesh of many of this earth's creatures... including several species of birds. For the record, however, I have never (knowingly) partaken of falcon...and feel no present inclination to do so.
