We blew another big lead, but when you've lost as many as we have and the ways we've lost some of them, a win is a win and I'll take it.

I'm not going to argue with you like a 5 yr. old, but I remember a MAC Tourney game (Ball State at home) and a game that helped to cost Miami an at large last year where we specifically TACKLED people at the buzzer only to have no calls on both plays . . . As much as Dan likes to moan and groan, he gets more than his fair share of calls all the time at home . . .

Ball State over Buffalo and UT up 10 over Kent second half.

This MAC season for BG has been so weird, it seems like we're either letting big leads get away from us, or we get behind by a lot and fight back. Either way, nearly all of them come down to the wire and are nail-bitters.

Boy, I guess we didn't quite hit bottom. Blowing a big lead against EMU would have officially been the last straw, the one moment where you could officially stick a fork in this team. I'm not the least bit impressed by the win tonight anyhow, if we were any good we would have killed them by 20. I still think this team has a MAJOR problem with coaching, as our players cannot seem to close out a game. They tried to give this one away tonight, but they were lucky that the opposing team was EMU, even more inept than we could hope to be.

I really hope Dakich gets canned soon. He's holding us down big time. It's really sad that I am such a big supporter of most things BG, and I just absolutely cannot get into this team even a little bit.

Same feelings here......except I think you can attribute some of it to the coaching staff beating the players to death physically and they never have fresh legs to last an entire game.

Watching us work the full court press is downright painful. It just plain hurts. On the post game, Coach says he would tell them to work against the pressure, and our guys would run straight into the corner every time and get trapped. And the thing is, for much of the press time, we had 4 or 5 guards on the floor.

A win, and I'll take it. We needed it pretty bad.

A win is a win people. Jesus. I get accused of "policing" people all the time, and most of the time I feel bad for the misinterpretation. This time I won't.

For f---ing out loud people - WE WON! And you're calling for the coaches head? Seriously? This is absolutely out of control. You people couldn't find anything positive in Candyland. The sugar plum flowers would be too sweet, or the lemon drop sun too tart. Un-FALCON-believable.

Get a grip folks. You're makind yourselves look silly.

Yeah. And throw in the fact that he let's so many players rot on the bench (Moten, Clements, Dusan, Guerin) and plays a style that results in frequent fouls, and you have a system that makes no sense whatsoever.

Beyond that, exactly WHAT is the point in starting a guy, letting him play just a few minutes, and then sending him to the bench for the rest of the night. Can somebody please provide some reasoning for THAT?

Is it me or is Moten in the doghouse? He didn't play until he was just about the last option in 2OT and gets the big 0 tonight for PT. Dusan was also a non-participant tonight.

I started at the back of this thread and moved backward trying to find out if the team won or not.

Interesting that it took me awhile to find out they won.

Any win is a good win regardless of score and means.

Well said! Yes it was ugly the last 5 minutes but we did win. Played well I thought for 35 minutes. DD only play 8 guys with Soler playing all 40 minutes. Toledo wins big, maybe they will have a let down on Sat.
