90's Football Roster Help??

Post by BourbonFalcon »

This is kind of a random question, but could anybody help me out? What position did Quin Dippilo play at BG? Was he on the roster? I have a friend who was trying to convince me that he was on one of our bowl championship teams, but haven't been able to find anything on him. Thanks!

He's not listed as a letterwinner in the media guide, nor does he appear in either the '91 or '92 team picture in the media guide.

Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate it.. A coworker of mine was saying that it was actually Quinn that was saying he was on the team. Aparently he wore a 91 championship ring at work and told people he played on the team. (This is why I couldn't just call him! fyi  ) Thanks again though!

I was on both those teams and don't remember him. What position did he say he played?

I don't think he ever did mention his position...this all happened before I was hired in, although i did see his ring (from the California Bowl?) and he said that he was on the team. I thought it was cool at the time and didn't think much of it. Aparently a few people here thought he was lying and knew that I was on this board and asked me to find out so I did. Don't you just love work room drama! Interesting though  I would like to know how he got the ring...I'm sure somebody can get a cheap replica of the actual. Thanks a lot!

If I recall correctly, there was a California Bowl ring on eBay last year sometime. It's amazing all of things you can buy on eBay!!!!

fwiw, I was in the marching band during those seasons, and I don't recall the name at all. I still have programs from both bowl games somewhere. If I get a chance, I will see if he's listed there.
