it is easy to cover it up in hicktown because quite frankly no one cares about what happens in BG. you think ESPN cares if a few kids from BG skip classes or have their papers done by for them by English major push overs? No, they absolutley do not. It is not a big story to them. It will get attention if the players are given cars, money etc. but not as much as if a team from ACC,SEC,big10,PAC10 big12 would get.

People do not care about this school or their sports teams. You can stop being angry about it and have a nice day.

Although I respect your right to take whatever stance you want (Buckeye supporter or whatever), and I do not agree with the way some have treated you on the site and specifically the way things have broken down to name calling in this thread,

I must refute your above statement because it always cracks me up when I hear about little tiddlywink schools getting put on NCAA probabtion. These are schools that would make BGSU look like tOSU.

Here is a list (from 2002) of small schools that have been on NCAA probation since 1992:

I must say that I agree with the second half of the first sentence of tekekini's last post on the second page (in reference to your town).

FWIW, the original post was made by me, a Rocket fan, not a BG fan. To be truthful, I grew up a Buckeye fan and am still known to root for them on certain occasions. Just by the nature of a program that size, any Buckeye fan has to admit that more goes on there though than at MAC schools. Anyway, I found the link to be pretty humorous so I posted it so others could enjoy it too. You shouldn't be so bitter, tekekini.

I'm not reporting BG. I still root for them. All I was saying is that Cole drove the car and that I found it "interesting". I even said it could have been his girlfriends and he was just driving it. But, it makes you wonder.

All I am saying is be careful what you say. I am sure there are things going on that nobody knows about right now. Who would have thought an NHL asst. coach and the greatest hockey player ever/head coaches wife would be involved in a nationwide illegal gambling operation? Someday you may be suprised.


As far as Dayons post goes:

First off, its cool you disagree with how they treat me since I keep it in the other schools section. They created it for people like me and now they want to try to tearme down. So thanks but I am not worried about them. They dont realize I give them a hard time just because of how they treat me. If they treated people with more dignity I would piss them off so much. It is easy to do, I dont even mean half the things I say but they are all trying to run a dictatorship even after they gave people the place to talk about other schools.

Second part of your post, I guess it looks like the NCAA pays more attention that I thought, those schools just dont get the attention so it was never really made known on a national level. I have never heard of any of those schools going on probabtion except Florida A&M?

according to Dayons article....just 1 There are 7 in question with the bball team which the university has already punished the team for, The NCAA did nothing about it. They are still deciding if the university did enough. No NCAA probations, only self imposed. The one from football was Troy Smith and it had been handled. and the girls BBALL was free dental work given to them by a dentist, had nothing to do with the university.

Its all stupidity on the players behavior and has nothing to do with the university athletics cheating. O'brien the only one who did anything wrong for a guy who wasnt comming here anyways, has been fired.
