Sounds like an excellent pick up. Good points made about these sleeper players the "big boys" tend to overlook.

GO FALCONS!!!

Two things I love about a potential receiver - speed and disciplined routes (especially important in our offense). Being an excellent student is something I love about any football player.

Sounds like a winner to me!

Here's an article from Florida on the speedy Mr. Charles. Says he once clocked a 4.3.

Bowling Green became interested in Charles as possibly a defensive back last fall but, needing a wide receiver, sent its wide receivers coach to Winter Haven to work out with Charles after track practice in late January.

Charles ended the recruiting process with his official visit to Bowling Green on Super Bowl weekend. He was not only impressed with the campus and the facilities, but also with the school's academic advisers. He plans to major in business finance.

"He's just a quality person," Winter Haven coach Charlie Tate said. "He's respectful, always positive and led by example. He has a lot of intangibles. He's unselfish."[/quote]

Don't forget that when Sharon came to BG his freshman year he had similar physical stats. Personally I hope that we keep him on the offensive side of the ball.
