HA! You got caught cracking on the men in a women's thread. And you think I'm a critic...

Anyway, another good win by the ladies tonight. They could have very easily looked past this one, but it goes to show how well coached this team is, and that they have real leaders at almost every position on the court. As I keep saying, this team will be SCARY in the NCAA tournament.

I also like the way that our ladies are looking. They could be a threat later on but they need to finish the rest of their games first before looking towards March.

Enjoyable game to watch, considering that it was the first time ever seeing women's bball. Now on to Saturday's double header of bball in the afternoon and HOCKEY at night.

Don't mean to be ignorant, but whoever that guard is that came off the bench....man! she is quick!

One thing that we should all appreciate, and I notice the same thing with the girl's team here in my town which has had a traditionally great program...no matter how far up BG is, the head coach and staff are coaching their asses off, while the competitors' staff is complacently sitting on theirs'.
Keep up the great work!

The problem with Jasmine is that she can't shoot.

For cryin' out loud, man - she's a FRESHMAN. Give her some time before you write off her entire career.

I don't mean this as a dig at all, but based on a lot of threads I've read by you lately, you really need to think sometimes before you post too hastily.

i agree, maybe her shot isnt that great yet, but give her a year or two, she will be a hell of a player...and second of all, she's a point gaurd, she doesnt necessarily need to shoot, she needs to get the ball to the ladies that can. we have a lot of ladies that can shoot. she looks like shes definitely the pg of the future and the future looks just as bright as the present...and im wearing sunglasses... 8)

Jasmine McCall is gonna be All MAC by the time she's a JR. Reminds me somewhat of Lindsay Austin.

Jaz has exceptional quickness and is outstanding defensively...her shooting will improve.

We have a 2 year starting PG who has yet to make a 3 point shot in her career (an odd and amazing stat when you think about it). Yet I think all will agree she manages to be rather productive without that piece of her game.

and she didn't even score a single point last night. she didn't have to.
there's more to being a pg than scoring.

I see reference to the "doubleheader" above- bball and hockey.

It is indeed that rarest of Saturdays- the true tripleheader.

BG women at 1 PM vs Buffalo
BG men at 3:30 PM vs Wright State
BG hockey at 7 PM vs Notre Dame

Add in the Alumni Night at Mileti Alumni Center with food from 5 PM to hockey game time and this is one unfalconbelievable weekend.

Everybody get to everything. Support the Falcons! I think they all deserve it.

But I bleed orange. Like our one poster.

Go Falcons!

Yes it is triple header saturday....but Swoop, Mrs. Class of 86, the daughter who doesn't want a nickname, and Legacy Boy will be opting out of the men's bball to go buy stuff at the Union and show up at Mileti at 5 while the second game is still going on.

Come introduce yourself if you wind up over at Mileti...unfortunately no Coach Brandon Q & A this year.
