Problem with PMs?

Post by hammb »

Grant,

I saw that you said there were some issues with polls. It looks like there might be some issues with the private messages as well. I got this error when I tried to send one:

General Error

Failed sending email :: PHP ::

DEBUG MODE

Line : 234
File : emailer.php

Tried it a few times with the same error.

I'm having the same problem - I tried to reply to your PM, Grant, but couldn't. Here is what my response WOULD have said...

It's a debug error in the Hockey forum. i got the following message:

Could not obtain vote data for this topic

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1030 Got error 28 from table handler

SELECT vd.vote_id, vd.vote_text, vd.vote_start, vd.vote_length, vr.vote_option_id, vr.vote_option_text, vr.vote_result FROM phpbb_vote_desc vd, phpbb_vote_results vr WHERE vd.topic_id = 10349 AND vr.vote_id = vd.vote_id ORDER BY vr.vote_option_id ASC

I have a message that has been sitting in my outbox for like three weeks now and has never been sent. What's up with that?

I've had that problem before. I think they don't send til that person signs on. But then again, I could be wrong.

Well, the person I am sending it to has made some posts since I tried to send the message so I don't think that is the problem :?

I think it's all working now.

[email protected] works too... getting hold of me should never be an issue if you notice things like this happening.

[email protected]

Go to Elmore and yell, "Where's Grant?!?!?!" and that sould work too!

I think it might have to do with when they pick it up, as well. I've sent stuff when people are on, I've see them on, but the message still sat in the outbox. People are lazy.
