No more Wright

Post by jerzyboy247 »

Looking at the BGSU roster today, Steven Wright must have left the team because he is currently not on the roster. Here is the thread.

Yeah, but that's as of January 3 and he has played since then, so that clearly is not correct...

Wright has indeed left the team. It is being called a mutual choice between he and Dan Dakich, per an e-mail from the athletic department that was sent out this afternoon.

Hmmm... interesting.

Would the DD bashers now line up to the left, the Wright bashers (are there any yet?) to the right, and those that just plain can't find anything nice to say about BG basketball take a number, maybe we can do the next eight repetitive pages of flame in a nice, orderly fashion....

Sorry, but that's about the last straw. It's time for Dakich to move on. I think Owens CC is in need of a coach.

We don't know what happened, so lets stay off the speculation bandwagon until we get some more information. No one says it HAD to be DD's fault.

Thought I'd stick this over here as well, so we don't have two divergent threads...

Bowling Green State University men's basketball coach Dan Dakich has announced that by mutual agreement senior guard Steven Wright will no longer be a part of the men's basketball program.

And yeah... until there are facts, let's keep the speculation to a minimum. I know a few facts, but am not willing to share until the story becomes a little more clear to me.
