And I'm off!

Post by TG1996 »

Well at least in a couple hours... hope to see at least a few of you turkeys at the Arena tonight for a FULL game of BG hockey! (And hopefully a win over whoever it is we're playing tonight. )

Oh, and unless I forget between here and the door, I'll likely be bringing "artwork" with me. Those interested know how to track me down...

Keep your fingers crossed for the FULL game. My dad's going to miss tonight's game because of a meeting. Last game he missed for a meeting was earlier this season......FSU

Here's to a safe and unevenful drive :partyman:

If something postpones this game, I'll definitely check your dad's schedule before attending another BG hockey game. Ever.

And don't worry, I still have a check to write for my LAST trip to BG's "uneventful drive". Blech. :x

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

This game tonight is huge. If we can halt the winless streak with a win over the Redhawks tonight, man, that would give us a ton of momentum heading into our playoff series, whoever we end up playing. We haven't been playing well of late, but all you need in hockey is a hot goalie in postseason and you can really make a move. Given Spratt's recent performance, I think it is possible that (assuming the defense doesn't cave) he could lead us well into the postseason if we can turn the momentum with a win tonight. Above all else, remember that class is not in session for the first/second rounds of the CCHA tournament, and you know how good we are when class is not in session :D

true dat!! but expect horrell in goal tonight...last home game of his collegiate career, lets just hope that the defense holds up, because neither goalie has any chance if the defense lets guys through, weve seen that way to many times!

Well, I made it. And despite some tense moments after the second "goal" wondering which way the team was going to go, I'm so pleased with the team's effort. They busted tail the rest of the way and I really thought they were going to chip one in there late and I'd get to see some extra hockey!!!

It was good to see the Fanatics and Metz again (FF is a helluva salesperson! ) and all in all just great to be in BG!
