Double Dipping Sunday: BG-Buffalo; Ball St-UT updates

Post by OptionQB »

Gametracker and Todd Walker on the radio for the Falcons and Windows Media Player hooking us up with that live feed off of BSU's website.

More to come shortly.

Gametracker is not available through CSTV.com today and in the second piece of disappointing news, Stan doesn't have the yellow suit on today either.

Buffalo up 8-2 . . . Very slow start for the Falcons as we have 3 team fouls already at the first media timeout.

Ball State hit an early 3 and UT is on a big run and Buckley calls timeout before opting for the media timeout and UT is up 9-3.

Clements enters after the media timeout and this may be the earliest that he's been in since the tournament in Virginia.

IF we can somehow win 2 out of the last 3, then I think we would probably end up with the 8th seed. Today is a MUST win, though, and things don't look very good early on.

No one in the chat room.... :( I have checked about 4 times.... Must be a busy Sunday for everyone.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

11:46 left . . . Mawi steps in for a charge on a red-hot Jordan and gets the call. 16-14 Falcons . . . 16-6 run by BG.

Dusan is the only "regular" not to play thus far. Moten, Clements and Phillips have all been in with Moon and the starters.

UT continues the run and Ball State is ICE COLD 15-3 Rockets

Speculation is that Dusan is done for the year with knee injury that "isn't a serious concern, but he's still probably done for the year."

Moten airballs a three and we have no answer for Ibidhi down low. He has 11 early. It's 27-26 Buffalo and everything is coming from our guards.

UT still up big like 22-11.

UT still up big like 20-9.

Thanks for the updates. This game is huge for them. Not only in the effort to get a home game in the first round but also just for their confidence level.

Under 4 timeout . . . 26-32 Buffalo leading . . . BG starting to get a little sloppy on offense and settle for a bunch of 3s (4 of 13 on the day)

Samarco awakes BG from the usual second half slumber with a 3 after Ibidhi runs off 8 points himself and the Bulls add a few more . . . 37-49 Buffalo 14:30 left.

UT up big on Ball State protecting it's #7 seed 47-30
