Cage and Ibidhi are simply better than anything we have. 41-54 Buffalo. Bulls getting big days from their two top guys. We do not handle the ball well enough or play consistent defense without fouling to be able to get into this one.

Will anyone else be happy when Mawi's antics of no-class, no-brains nonsense comes to an end? Is there any reason why Dan has allowed it to go on this long? For those of you without the benefit of radio, Mawi just kicked a player from Buffalo and got T'd up. This crap happens in every game. There's some sort of WWE-style wrestling match he has to get himself involved in. At least Dan had the deceny to pull him out after this happened.

Guerin in for some early action . . . this should be interesting.

56-66 . . . Marschall fouls out under 5:00 left.

Prior to Marschall fouling out . . . we had a lineup of Guerin, Floyd, Phillips, Samarco and Marschall in there.

56-67 after the guy that Marschall fouled made 1

This group has been able to get their hands on a lot of balls and have caused at least two turnovers with a lot of full court press.

Lefeld has come in for the fouled out Marschall.

Under 4 timeout . . . 58-67

UT getting crazy on Ball State 73-44

Floyd fouled at 2:30 . . . He hits 1 of 2 for 59-67.

Samarco fouls Cage on a 3-pointer with less than 3 on the shot clock. Now it's a two . . .

Samarco evidently "accidently" turned into him.

Cage makes both 59-69

Down the stretch, there's been no Clements and no Moten, with Guerin and Phillips seeing all the action and honestly it hasn't hurt us as much as I thought it would defensively.

1:07 left, Jordan blocks a Samarco 3 and then chases it down with a big dunk and followed by Guerin at 1:30.

Samarco comes back with a 3 (20 points) . . . Freeman enters as a sub instead of Moten and Clements.

Big pass to Middleton and finish. BG miss (Floyd-3) and Samarco fouls Jordan on a breakaway.

Guerin comes back with a tough basket against Ibidhi . . . 76-64 . . . Cage fouled on the inbound and it's 78-64. Samarco with a 3 . . . 78-67 . . . Foul inbound . . . Middleton FT good, 79-67 . . . Second out . . . Samarco misses on a 3 . . .

Moten did check in with about 15-20 seconds left and ended up with another foul . . . 81-67 . . .

From what I can tell Dan did not put Mawi back in after the Technical.

Buffalo beat us up on the boards (38 to 29) and simply buried us with their free throw shooting (32-39 to 10-14). That’s ballgame.
