New AP poll

Not much movement this week as 20-25 all went undefeated. BC lost two games and dropped to 27th behind us and Florida jumped all the way to 23 with the big upset of Tennessee. We're up to 78 votes but still 26th behind A&M with 112 votes.

Yeah I know the feeling. This week I wasn't as upset because no one immediately in front of us really lost. I thought that if we won out, we could make it up to around 20 in time for selection Monday.

The problem is, I get the feeling from reading a lot of articles from the nat'l media that BG isn't well received in the "club". It seems that a lot of people are pissed that we have about the 200th ranked schedule in the country and are still 25th in the coaches poll.

At this point, I don't think we'll move up more than a spot or two in each poll before the NCAA tourney starts. We'll just have to prove 'em all wrong whilst we dance to the sweet 16.

I was kind of surprised to see Florida leap frog BG. Sure they sneaked bye Tennessee, but they are 2-2 in their last 4 games, with 7 losses on the year. UF got smoked by both Auburn and South Carolina in those two games, and neither of those teams are even receiving votes. I guess for the AP, one game against UT makes a season, unless you are UK I guess.

Screw 'em. We play in the MAC and have for years. Coach Miller made sure we played a very tough non Conf sked. Most of those games were on the road or neutral sites. We've lost TWO games by 4 points to solid teams...What more can you ask for?

Just keep winning....that will shut people up!
