1 more win and OSU clinches at worst a tie for big ten Champ...good for Ron Lewis:-)

if they beat N'Western AND Purdue they win it outright I believe.

Very possible...

No reason to hate on you...OSU is having a great season and everyone can see that.

OSU is a good team, but they'll need to shoot well from 3 to make a run in the tourney. They're certainly capable. All those guys can drain the 3. They'll probably end up a 2 seed.

I'm still intrigued to see if IU can sneak in as the B11's 7th team. I don't think so because I don't think they can win at UM. Nobody can win "at" anywhere. The B11 tourney is going to be an absolute war.

They have been consistently hitting the 3 ball all season really. Sullinger has sickened me with his trey's (esp over UM of the other day) and Matt Sylvester has been nailing huge ones at crucial points in games all season. I think the whole team will do fine hitting them come tourney time.

I don't have a hard time admitting that OSU has two very good basketball teams this year. I think both will make it to at least the Elite 8. My problem is that up to this point in the season, I don't think anyone down here could care less. I'm sure when both teams are playing on the second weekend of the tournament that all the Buckeye fans will come out sporting their Terrence Dials jerseys, though. The men's team is gonna be unbelievable next year with Oden, Butler, and Company.

Personally I think OSU deserves a one seed if they continue to win. OSU is the only team that consistently wins in the Big Ten and that says a great deal. I'm sure the Big Ten is better than it looks right now. Look at last year when everyone said the Big Ten was down and then 3-4 of the teams in elite 8 were from the Big Ten. Their run through the Big Ten is pretty impressive.

cool, i am glad i didnt get flamed for this because i was being serious. nobody expected them to be where they are. i think they will be overlooked a bit in the tourney despite a gaurnteed 2 seed.

I think this is what I heard today on the radio not sure if it is true i havent been able to find anything to validate it but is the first time in NCAA history a school has won a conference title in football, mens and womens BBALL?

what if they win baseball....that would never be beaten again i wouldnt think

Tek...I think everyone knew it was you that posted. Who else finds a way to post only about osu on here?

Anyway back to the topic.

I couldn't possibly be the only person in the country to think that ohio state was going to be this good this year. I hate ohio state that's obvious but the coach gets everything out of his players that was evident last year. I don't follow the program closely but I dont think they lost anyone significant from last years team. I will say that I didnt think Iowa or Illinois would be fighting for the B10 championship but ohio state really did not surprise me.

I think it surprised a lot of ohio state "fans" because how do I say this nicely? They only care about football. Now everyone will jump on the basketball bandwagon and say they were fans for years.

I figured they would be good but i didnt expect them to be this good...i know they got the 20 wins last year but I wasnt sure how good they really were.

This year with all of the hype about next years team i think they have been kind of overlooked even by OSU's own fans and for a while they were quietly running up the win column. I dont think people realized how well they were doing until they had already won 15 games.

I got to atleast 4 or 5 of their home games a year and they always have a large crowd so there might not be as many as you think who only care about football but It is still mainly a football school...even though they are about to have two basketball titles this year.

I will nt be one of those fans who come out and jump on the bandwagon for OSU basketball..i watch every game i get on TV, and go to a few each year..i wont watch them anymore or less than i do now..but it is nice to see they are leading towards dominance in more than football.

See, it's possible to discuss other schools without dissing BG.

They're good, but I don't see them making it past the Elite 8.
