More MAC Hoops Coverage from MAC Report Online...

Post by MRO_chick »

Since we have made so many people happy with our awards, we thought that we would add to the fun with our weekly MAC Hoopla column.

In this edition of this week's column we cover:
Akron, KSU & Miami secure first round byes
Kent State's impressive run of 20 victory seasons
In-Conference Home Records
Miami's Non-Conference Schedule Rated 4th Toughest in Nation
Wright leaving BG; Howland's Dismissal from BSU
News, Notes from around the MAC, Stat Leaders and Schedules

I typically don't read the Vandelaysports MAC power rankings, but this week I did. For the "note" beside Central Michigan, who was ranked dead last in the rankings, this is what the writers wrote....not that these guys really know anything, just kind of interesting...

#12 Central Michigan: RPI #312 - A course in how multiple transfers over a 3 year period can destroy a team (are you listening Dan Dakich?).

That's funny, but luckily BG isn't in the same boat yet because DD has stocked the program with more talent throughout than Jay Smith was able to do in Mt. Pleasant. All those transfers have really killed that program.
