BG lost a close one to ranked Washington, 4-3. As mentioned before, Washington, Baylor and Mississippi State are all very good and any win would be a good one in this tournament.

Tough, tough teams but a 4-3 loss to a ranked Huskie squad? No shame in that.

They also lost to ranked and host team Baylor, 3-1. BG was up 1-0 before Baylor scored three late runs. Yeah, it was a loss, but these are two of the better teams in the country and it was good to see BG hang with them and give them two good games. I hope they can beat MSU and then maybe get one back against UW and Baylor next time around.

Well, BGsuffered another close defeat to Mississippi State, 3-2.

BG will face Baylor today at 5:30 then play Washington and Miss State again tomorrow.

3 very close losses to some of the best teams in the nation. I think this BG team will be just fine.
