Tara Breske of Bedford MI HS is having an all star volleyball season. She has led her Mules into the MI HS regionals next weekend. Tara leads a team that has won 6 of 8 invitationals they have entered (finishing second in the other two) this season and they are 11-0 in regular matches.
Tara is a sure bet for post season honors and Bedford remains a real threat to win the state title in a couple of weeks. Michigan plays volleyball as a winter sport and girl's basketball as a fall sport- the reverse of all but a couple states.
Tara has overcome a knee injury from last year to star on the court. Most of us are likely aware that Tara was being actively recruited for basketball by some of the very top teams in the country prior to her injury. They dropped away, but BG stayed with her and likely has picked up a very fine future player.
