Best Recruiting Class ever: Moten?

Post by Germainfitch1 »

I have not seen games but this kid seems to be one of the most hyped recruits of late. A later signee who was recruited by Virginia, has seen about ten minutes a game, but how has he played? Shades of superstardom, A player we can build a team around? He is 6-4 175...and listed as a Forward? Can he play a Trent Jackson like forward spot for us?

Moten's played some decent defense, and is definitely athletic. Right now he hasn't really shown much ability to penetrate, seems like mostly a catch & shoot guy.

He may have stats of 10 minutes per game, but I cannot remember him playing that many minutes in most games. He seems tentative when he gets in, as if he's afraid to screw up. He looks like he's thinking of too much and not playing with instincts right now...

Haven't really seen enough of him to have a real opinion, I don't think.

Trent Jackson was a good bit bigger...even without the wig.

Moten looks like a shooting guard.....we have a lot of guys who are best suited to play SG. Samarco, Floyd, Moten, Clements, Wright....oooopps...forget about Wright.

I don't think Moten has played enough to get a read on him either.....kind of like that Rosefelts kid a few years ago...
